To celebrate the end of this year dedicated to André Le Nôtre an exhibition entitled André Le Nôtre in Perspective. 1613 - 2013 is to take place at Versailles. Going against the traditional vision of Le Nôtre, this exhibition offers a new and surprising image of this man, his art and his influence. Gardener, designer, architect, engineer and hydraulics specialist, landscape architect and planner, collector and a wizard with space, André Le Nôtre was a close friend of the king, whose dreams he made into reality.
